Boeing's Starliner spacecraft embarked on its maiden voyage to the International Space Station on Wednesday, lifted off by a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida. The launch campaign commenced 45 days prior, involving the stacking of the Atlas V at Space Launch Complex 41.
Atlas V's Launch Success
At 10:34 pm Eastern time, the Atlas V's engines ignited, propelling the Starliner spacecraft into space. Its trajectory followed an arcing path, successfully commencing Boeing's next mission to send two astronauts on a maiden voyage to the International Space Station.
