Programs combine for 18 conference championships
Two of the winningest programs in college football will face off against each other on Saturday when the Oregon State Beavers and Purdue Boilermakers meet at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana.
The Beavers and Boilermakers have a combined 18 conference championships — OSU has won seven Pacific-12 titles, and Purdue has won 11 Big Ten titles. The two schools have faced each other just once before, in 2018, a game that Purdue won 30-21.
The Beavers are coming off three consecutive wins, a first for the program since 2013. The Boilermakers are looking to rebound from a loss to Penn State.
The Beavers are led by quarterback Chance Nolan, who has thrown for 1,232 yards and 10 touchdowns this season. The Boilermakers are led by quarterback Aidan O’Connell, who has thrown for 1,494 yards and 10 touchdowns this season.
The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. PT and will be televised on FS1.
