Local Sports

The Tri-City Wildcats football team kicked off their season with a thrilling victory over the rival Riverview Rams. The Wildcats dominated the game from start to finish, winning with a final score of 35-14. Running back Marcus Johnson led the team with 150 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

The Tri-City Lady Eagles volleyball team also had a successful start to their season, winning their first two matches. The team is looking to build on last year's success and make a run for the state championship.

Business News

The Tri-City Chamber of Commerce is hosting a business networking event on Tuesday, September 19th, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Tri-City Business Center. The event is free to attend and open to all businesses in the Tri-City area. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with other business professionals, learn about upcoming business events, and hear from local business leaders.

Construction is underway on the new Tri-City Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Main Street and Willow Avenue. The shopping center will feature a variety of retail stores, restaurants, and a movie theater. The project is expected to be completed by the fall of 2025.

Community News

The Tri-City Food Bank is hosting a food drive on Saturday, September 23rd, from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Tri-City Community Center. The food bank is in need of non-perishable food items, such as canned goods, pasta, and rice.

The Tri-City Humane Society is hosting a pet adoption event on Sunday, September 24th, from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the Tri-City Animal Shelter. The event will feature a variety of adoptable cats and dogs, as well as information on pet care and adoption.
