Borussia Dortmund share in green: Guirassy gives outlook on the future after BVB debut
Double scorer in the test against Meppen
Another newcomer has made a strong case for himself with a brace in Borussia Dortmund's 3-0 win in the friendly against SV Meppen.
Sebastien Haller, who had previously been out for a long time due to a testicular tumor, celebrated his comeback after 247 days with a goal to make it 1-0 (20th), substitute Anthony Modeste increased to 2-0 (62nd). Shortly afterwards, summer newcomer Sékou Koita made it 3-0 (67th) shortly after coming on.
"I want to show what I can do"
Youngster Youssoufa Moukoko, who started for the second time in the preparation after his torn syndesmosis ligament, was also convincing.
After the game, another newcomer spoke up: "I'm happy about the two goals, I'm grateful to the team. I want to show what I can do," said Modeste's attacking colleague Guirassy.
